Worship Committee

This committee works closely with the Rector and the Music Director to plan public worship in the church.  Worship follows the traditional Episcopal/Anglican way, using the Book of Common Prayers and the Episcopal Lectionary Series.  The Worship Committee supports all aspects of the Worship Experience, including: the Altar, Lay Readers, Acolytes,Ushers, Choir, Dance, and Christian Education.
Our Sunday Worship Services-  We worship in the Episcopal/ /Anglican way using the Book of Common Prayer (BCP)- red or blue hard cover book with cross on the front.  You will find prayers and readings from the Book of Common Prayer indicated this way:  "BCP Page____."  Hymns are selected from the following hymnals:  LEVAS - Lift Every Voice and Sing (red, green & black hard cover book), the Hymnal (blue hard cover hymn book), or the Blue Book (small soft cover light bluebook containing familiar hymns and spirituals).   After the hymn number you will find the following designation: L=LEVAS; H= Hymnal; B= Small Blue Hymnal.  When there is an "S" before the hymn number, it means the hymn can be found in the front of the hymnal
